So many churches have leased their minerals with very little consideration given to the health effects and property value impacts for those living nearby. As Christianity tells us, greed has many faces.Westchester Neighborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02680654681555827977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2818349562250281613.post-5313988615702328272012-06-12T11:52:56.084-05:002012-06-12T11:52:56.084-05:00In order for some groups to receive monetary perks...In order for some groups to receive monetary perks, the quality of life for others who live in the extraction zone must suffer.Fish Creek Neighborhttp://fishcreekmonitor.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2818349562250281613.post-32532334648612745152012-06-12T01:00:12.350-05:002012-06-12T01:00:12.350-05:00Anonymous at 7:19 PM: Sadly The Pate Foundation is...Anonymous at 7:19 PM: Sadly The Pate Foundation isn't located in Texas. Interesting only because that's about the time shale gas drilling and fracking kicked into high gear. One has to wonder about the timing of that.

We have found other large non-profits located in Texas that have leased their minerals for shale gas development ~ and in very close proximity to neighborhoods, too. It's unbelievable to us based on all we know. :=(Westchester Neighborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02680654681555827977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2818349562250281613.post-68916078885193358622012-06-11T19:19:56.715-05:002012-06-11T19:19:56.715-05:00The foundation should consider a small solar insta...The foundation should consider a small solar installation, maybe a playground, a wind turbine, maybe a few trees to enhance quality of life. Or they could just let the land sit empty. It would be an improvement.
Shale drilling & frackingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
